In his San Diego breast augmentation practice, Dr. Sarosy offers both silicone breast implants and saline breast implants. He can help you choose the most appropriate implant and method for your breast augmentation procedures.
Silicone Implants – These implants are filled with silicone which closely mimics the feel of a body’s fat tissue. These tend to be slightly more expensive for breast augmentation than saline implants.
Saline Implants – These implants are filled with a saline solution prior to the surgery. They tend to be slightly “harder” sensation than silicone but recent changes have made these almost as good as silicone Implants. These are excellent choices for your breast augmentation.

However as popular as breast augmentations are there are still risks and complications that can be distressing just like any other surgical procedure. Some of the possible risks or complications can be infections, capsule contracture, bleeding, asymmetry, problems with mammograms, calcification, and deflation.
