Dr. Erfani has performed some of the most technically challenging procedures in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, including Microvascular Free Tissue Transfer, Microvascular Hand/Limb Replantation, Cancer and Burn Reconstruction, Aesthetic Facial/Full Body Contouring and Reconstruction.

In addition to his in-depth training and experience as a plastic surgeon specializing in body contouring, Dr. Erfani has conducted research in several of the country’s most distinguished laboratories. He has written articles on palatal clefting which have been printed in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the flagship peer-reviewed journal of Plastic Surgery. He has also had the opportunity to travel to El Salvador to perform corrective surgery for underprivileged children and adults with cleft lip/palate, nasal, and other facial deformities. Dr. Erfani often reflects on that trip as one of his most gratifying professional experiences; he looks forward to participating in many more charitable endeavors locally and abroad.
